Junior Church

What is it?

Junior Church is a high-energy time of learning the truths and application of Scripture. Each week the time is centered around a passage from the Bible and may include other components such as: Dramas, puppet skits, song, crafts and more. One Sunday per month, there is a pause in the program, to allow the children to head off to ‘Mission Band’, where the Bible teaching will have a missions focus.

When do the children go to Jr. Church?

Children join their parents in the Sanctuary for the first part of the Worship Service. Prior to the message they are called forward for what we call a ‘Children’s Moment’ (a simple teaching using object lessons and stories to help children learn more about God and His ways).

Following the ‘Children’s Moment’ the children head off together, for Jr. Church.

Parents are to pick up their children following the service, so that they can enjoy a time of food and fellowship, as a family, prior to the start of Sunday School at 11:30 a.m.
